Ray Arbon

Ray Arbon is a photographic artist who has been doing photography independently over the last 12 years. Specializing predominantly in Landscape photography however expanded in to other fields such as Portrait, Animals, Kids, Weddings, Events and Special Occasions including Bands. Ray loves capturing that special moment be it manmade, created or staged.

Ray’s photos capture a unique look in to their surroundings, bringing out vibrant colours and enhancing sometimes the simplest of features to improve the overall look of the photo.

Based in Canberra (Australia’s Nation’s Capital), Ray has traveled far and wide to capture the right photo and is willing to travel worldwide.

Ray frequently reinvents his creative approach to his work. His Landscape work is poignant and edgy, with some photos revealing the alienation of a country on the cusp of change using highly saturated colour images. His venture into other areas of photography was a continuation of his exploration of different genres of photography, and it struck a chord with the general public. His goal was to use images to communicate with the masses, and take photography outside galleries.
